- Provide first class commercial HR Business Partner support and guidance to Directors, Managers and colleagues working across multiple business units including Head Office and Retail division. Create, implement and embed best practice people management, and people processes in line with Group and Regional People Plan and business objectives for allocation division.

Our client, well established International Company, operating within retail industry, due to dynamically growing operations in Poland is looking for an experienced candidate for the newly created position of HR Business Partner. The Human Resources BP will be responsible to support the strategy of the enterprise by developing , leading and implementing HR policies and procedures across the organisation in coordination with the business partners and within the group guidelines.
Description
- Contribute and lead where required, to the development of key HR programmes/initiatives in the Company regular review of policies and processes in line with Group policy and local legislation
- Ensure employee relations issues are managed and resolved in a pragmatic, commercial and efficient manner to protect the business from risk and ensure fair treatment of employees in line with Group culture
- Provide required HR support professional and confidential manner
- Work closely with Administration Manager to implement high standards of governance and compliance with Health & safety, GDPR and other required legislation
- Work closely with Group HR team to train, coach and develop Regional Leaders and Managers to create and maintain a positive culture based on group Values and Competency Framework
- Train, coach and support all managers in effective management of performance and behaviours
- Challenge behaviour (at all levels) where it undermines our Group values and culture in an appropriate and effective manner
- Help managers understand and proactively manage factors which impact on employee engagement
- Work with Group HR team, and local managers to arrange Fun at work' activity, competitions, engagement with Workplace etc.
- Ensure new joiners receive a welcoming Induction and Onboarding which makes people feel like part of the team from day 1, helps people understand what is expected from them and equips them quickly with the skills and knowledge to do their jobs.
- Implement and Embed group development Programmes including Trailblazers & You are the Difference
- Contribute to and coordinate updates and usage of learning and communication platforms including Myagi, Workplace, Litmos
- Support managers in development of feedback and performance management/coaching skills and effective use management models such as of GROW and E2C2
- Ensure that induction, onboarding and development plans provide engaging employee experience and opportunity for personal growth
- Ensure objectives & reward plans are realistic, stretching, motivating and deliver the commercial goals at team and regional levels
- Ensure managers are setting behavioural ground rules and managing behaviour and attitude in line with Company Values and Competency Framework
- Encourage prompt action to manage underperformers up or out using capability and/or disciplinary procedure and stretch high potential individuals to become succession
- Work with leadership to create and implement a Regional People Plan to enable the Commercial Business plan
- Manage appropriate HR led projects such as Time & Attendance, HR Systems
- Plan and effectively manage change in the business e.g. restructures, redundancies, TUPE, changing terms and conditions
Profile
- Comprehensive generalist HR experience including full range of employee relations and change management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Polish employment law
- Managing challenging stakeholders at all levels
- Have friendly, proactive, focused approach on cooperation and support attitude towards the entire team
- Knowledge of the local labour market
- Experience of leading and implementing HR projects including organisational change
- Retail experience preferred
- Fluent in spoken and written English and able to communicate with the head office and colleagues internationally
- Accountable for HR relationship at Business Unit level
- CIPD qualified or local equivalent (Chartered status desirable but not essential)
- Comprehensive employee relations knowledge and experience, ideally gained in multiple business backgrounds
- Management and/or continual development of HR team roles
- May be required to manage project teams
- Must be a good team player and demonstrate respect and appreciation for HR and other colleagues
