We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional, to join our Industrial Turbomachinery Systems We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional to join our Applications Team as HMI Engineer and participate in a design process of Turbine and Compressor Control Systems. The main objective of this position is to support our internal customers in Asia.
- Designing of HMI screens for turbine and compressor control applications in accordance with internal design standards and customer specifications
- Working on other assigned tasks under a guidance of more experience engineers
- Supporting of internal engineering quality systems (Product Life Cycle process, Engineering Change process, etc.)
- Supporting and executing Factory Acceptance Tests with attendance of internal and external customers and control agencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automatics and Robotics, Process Control Engineering or related field
- Previous industry internship experience is desired
- Previous job experience and understanding the cultural differences when working with Asian cultures will be a plus
- Knowledge of SCADA systems such as iFix, Citect or Cimplicity is desired
- Familiarity with standard communication protocols such as MODBUS, Profibus and other used in SCADA systems
- Knowledge of IP addressing and address subnetting
- Readiness to work overtime, travel internationally and perform other duties when required
- Ability to assist in development of department and organization procedures
- Ability to effectively operate in the international project team environment and communicate with customers
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic programming
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well in English, orally and through written documentation
