For one of our client, a global financial institution we currently looking for:
Hedge Fund Accountant / Senior Accountant
Location: Kraków
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the accurate and timely production of the Net Asset Value
- Ensuring all positions are priced correctly
- Verifying that corporate actions have been processed accurately
- Processing and reviewing fund capital activity
- Liaise and assist with audit queries and annual financial statements
- Performing and assisting review of cash and position reconciliations of listed and derivative products
- Investigating and resolving all reconciling cash and position items
- Coordinating with other departments on miscellaneous fund queries and reconciliations
- Processing and reviewing various accounting transactions
- Assisting with training and development of new staff
- Contribute to the development of the team
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business,Accounting or related field
- Experience in a fund accounting environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong numerical /analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized with an outstanding time management skills
