Following development of our services we are currently recruiting person of the:
The Group Facilities Manager works within the Property and Construction Group to assist in all aspects of the construction of new clubs from inception to completion nationwide. Person on this position will be responsible for supporting the property team in contacts with contractors and landlords. Furthermore, it will require regular travel.
The role reports to Group Property and Construction Director.
Responsibilities:

Supervision and managing of the daily maintenance and construction in all divisions of the business,

Monitoring and coordinating the negotiation of all maintenance contracts to ensure that clubs meet health&safety standards and energy efficiency,

Managing a team of facilities specialist to coordinate negotiation of central utility contracts to ensure that all utility charges are checked before the payment will be accepted,

Liaising with estate teams to minimize the cost of damage repairs caused in clubs by third party or landlords,
-
Ensuring that all documentation of clubs (plans, certification, retention found, guarantees) are correctly stored and logged,

Supporting and assisting The Head of Group NGG and Construction in all aspects of the construction of new clubs from inception to completion nationwide,

Monitoring performance against contracted KPI’S and targets,
-
Establishing and maintaining external contacts with statutory, local authorities and other group and associations,

Coordinating best practise with facilities team – ensuring that all works done in the clubs are cost-eefective and involve minimum workload,
-
Along with all facilities specialist manage and maintain the Divisional Facility Budgets,
-
Coordinating all major works with contractors and ensuring quality control before completed works are signed off,
-
Liaising with others departments and club management to update them as progress of works to ensure they are able to update affected members.
Qualifications:

An appropriate engineering or property degree qualification is essential,

Experience in running a large portfolio of properties of various age and condition within budgetary condition,

Experience in people management,

Business awareness,

Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems,

Basic IT skills including Word, Excel and Power Point,

Ability to communicate technical matters to people with no technical know-how,
-
Defect/warranty management,
