Purpose of the role:
Develop and manage e-Procurement services for IAG, this includes:

• Managing the Strategic Sourcing Cycle through the use of e-procurement tools
• spot buy, low value sourcing activities

Drive the integration and harmonization of e-procurement strategies across the group

Accountabilities:
• Define Group e-procurement strategy, recommending the means and resources required for implementation
• Develop and manage a team to run the strategic sourcing cycle utilising e-procurement systems and processes on behalf of the group
• Develop and manage a team to deliver fast buy and spot-buy activities
• Set clear guidelines and timetable for implementing group-wide processes, defining value and opportunity requirements and assessments, demand forecasting, aligned to organisational and operational efficiency requirements and targets
• Be seen as a subject matter expert on E-Procurement, providing support and advice
• Define simple and clear metrics for governance and success measurement, and performance manage of achievement
• Build strong network and relationships with key stakeholders to deliver the Group’s strategy
• Develop and maintain E-Procurement technology and its usage,
• Incorporate and embed the use of E-Procurement technology into all appropriate supply chain activities
• Lead on E-Procurement projects to drive continuous improvement for the group

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications:
Degree and/or the ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of working in an international e-procurement environment

Skills:
• Excellent people manager with ability to inspire, lead, build and deliver through high performance teams.
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to evaluate, analyse and solve problems
• Ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved and break down barriers that get in way of effective team working.
• Ability to prioritise, maintain clear focus and provide direction in constant ambiguity and change, using knowledge, judgment, resilience and courage to resolve conflicting priorities and manage crises
• Ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and finite resource and uncertainty.
• Excellent sponsorship and stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence senior stakeholders
• Commitment to service excellence and process improvement
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Working knowledge of the languages of the countries of our operating companies is an asset: working knowledge of Spanish is particularly important

Experience:
• Experience using e-technology in all aspects of the supply chain
• Demonstrate experience in a procurement buying role or the mind set required to effectively procure products and services
• Able to identify opportunities where e-procurement systems can be developed to improve efficiencies of supply chain activities
• Experience managing teams
• Up to date with current e-procurement technology and best practice
