Hitachi Job Description- Finance-Information Technology- General Information Technology General Information Technology work involves managing or performing work across multiple areas of an organization’s overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration of: IT Systems Software, Hardware, and Databases. Data & Voice Networks. Data Processing Operations. End User Technology & Software Support Conducts cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization’s IT roadmap.
Your responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management- Acting as the key contact for the Hitachi Energy Transformers hub, global product groups and the local business process owner. Challenging the status quo while applying the right cultural sensitivity. Ensures understanding and execution of strategic and tactical needs, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of the relevant IS Services; all with the scope of responsibility.
- Solutions- Responsible for oversight of design, execution, and delivery of specific IS solutions/ services defined by at the global and hub level for strategic initiatives to support business growth. Focus on SAP S4/Hana design, development, implementation with system integration to Non-ERP applications in a manufacturing environment.
- IS Delivery- Executes the IS solution/ service delivery utilizing the internal IS delivery and IS operations team members as well as external 3rd party IS service suppliers in a “core and flex model”. Delivers an IS Service or support within appropriate domain for a IS solutions to relevant customer group ensuring execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule.
- IS Strategy- Supports the implementation of PG IS Strategy and IS Enterprise Architecture for relevant area of responsibility.
- IS Application Landscape- Supports system integration from SAP S4/Hana to Non-ERP applications to optimize business process’s.
- Processes- Supports the installation/ management/ maintenance/optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS Service Build or IS Service Delivery within the domain.
- Budget-Manages assigned budget, if any, effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs. Participates in the definition of costs and schedules.
- People Leadership and Development- Ensures with HR Manager support that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both company and the employee.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; effectively communicating with all parties.
- Supporting local business organization in implementing global business process improvements and SAP global implementations.
- Driving innovative solutions in line with the SAP Global templates and SPEX concepts, sharing knowledge and providing feedback for further SPEX concept improvements.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ECC or SAP S4/Hana.
- SAP S4/Hana- 10 years experience in SAP with focus on SAP S4/Hana design, development, implementation with system integration to Non-ERP applications in a Made to Stock, Made to Order, and Engineered to Order manufacturing environment.
- SAP S4/Hana- 5 years experience in design/ development/implementation rollouts in one of the following SAP S4/Hana modules: WMS Warehouse Management, TMS Transportation Management, PS Project Standard w/ WBS Element, PM/QM Plant Maintenance/ Quality Management.
- Non-ERP IS Platforms & Applications: 5 years experience in applications integration to SAP and application management.
- General Management: 5 years experience managing SAP build/development implementations in a flexible hybrid/remote work environment including management of resources and budget.
- Project Management: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management of complex global projects including IT system integration in an international, cross-cultural environment, preferably in SAP ERP projects.
- Experience in manufacturing operations method and process and change management.
- Experience in complex stakeholder scenarios, cross-functional problem solving and good understanding of IT procedures and policies, together with end-to-end business processes knowledge.
- Proficiency in SAP modules as an end user as well as knowledge in configuration and design development.
- Highly proactive and results-driven attitude, ability to take ownership of projects.
- Excellent people skills including experience in change management as well as negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English in a global multi-cultural diverse environment.
