Job Description:
Role Summary
Within a global F&A BPO, the RTR team has a global blueprint of 250 roles located across 7 delivery locations. This role is a newly created position within the organization and will have responsibility for delivery on the robotic process automation agenda to bring and contribute to the delivery of new and innovative change incubation on the contract, anticipating organisational needs and developing implementation plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Global RTR Automation & Innovation Lead position includes some or all of the following key responsibilities
- Overall
- Develop and oversee the overall portfolio of RTR automation ideas/ projects and manage it through prioritization, project planning and project progress tracking
- Liaise with key Account Leads to understand pressures and priorities of automation/ project demand and problems in order to mitigate operational risk and resolve issues
- Play a key role in ensuring automation initiatives/ projects meet business, schedule and budget objectives
- Act as an Automation Lead and manage the innovation teams ensuring that RTR area has a defined and consistent automation approach in place and that all the business needs are met and delivered
- Drive automation projects/ initiatives on service processes to improve their automation level, productivity and efficiency
- Collaborate with client/ internal stakeholders to improve client processes efficiency through automations and support the execution of automation framework
- Develop internal and client gain share opportunities to ensure contractual scope is met
- Drive innovative delivery models, automation solutions, technology scoping, technical evaluations and testing of developed automations
- Stimulate business environment through delivery and triggering of automation workshops/ meetings and empower it by new skill sets, automate tools and resources
- Establish RTR Automation SPOC in each Delivery Centre and develop/ agree on the duties scope
- Synchronize local versus global automation ideas/ projects and ensure all are tracked and accessible for all RTR SPOCs on a recurring basis
- Liaise with Business Excellence teams on developer’ supply (Tech Masters) and support identification and appointment of skilled workforce from various Delivery Centres
- Develop the automation plan at the operational level in cooperation with the operational teams to ensure automations are investigated, developed and deployed according to business needs
- Responsible for assigning tasks to the innovation teams, scheduling and monitoring work and reviewing results for timeliness, accuracy and quality
- Take clear responsibility for functional areas of expertise - think and act in the wider context and manage interests of client/ internal (operational and innovation teams) stakeholders
- Establish and manage an innovation team metrics
- Establish and build relationship with both respective Automation Leads in India, Poland, China, Argentina, Ireland and US, other teams and client resources
- Contributes to the flow of information on automation initiatives/ ideas by conducting regular team meetings to ensure innovation staff are updated on relevant objectives/issues
- Maintain formal automation reporting, attend management and other meetings, keep regular formal and informal communications
- Manage digitalization internal reporting tools and trackers (ensure all automations are logged into Digi Trackers and on we@accenture)
- Develop success packs for cross sharing within Accenture (success stories and recorded demos) for all deployed automations
Performance Management
- Develop or maintain performance measurements based on reporting tools and determine process performance baselines, and areas for process improvement
- Collect and provide performance measures and feedbacks and analyze findings to identify areas for improvement
- Provide assistance and support to the key Account Leads and liaising with the project sponsors to stay abreast of sponsor satisfaction
- Provide expert guidance to direct planning, control, monitoring and reporting of automation initiatives and significant projects
- Meet performance objectives by being responsible for providing day-to-day supervision, initiative project management and prioritization, workforce and capacity planning and business teams support in accordance with Accenture policies and procedures
- Prepare an annual development plan for the innovation team to ensure required skill sets and (if necessary) training needs are appropriately identified and an agreed plan for individual staff members is progressed
Automation Management and Process Improvements
- Define automation improvement agenda/ plan and measurements to monitor and take corrective actions around budget, schedule, scope and quality
- Lead and/ or support process improvement and operational teams among RTR to identify and drive automations and ensure customer service improvement, early issue identification and timely resolution and operational risk mitigation
- Drive automation projects/ initiatives on service processes to improve their automation level, productivity and efficiency
