The Global HR Services function supports the Talent team to design and deliver processes, transactions and technology across our global organization. HR Services is currently leading the development and deployment of global operating models for HR processes and supporting technology for Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Employee Development, HR Reporting, and Mobility Support.
We are looking for an experienced Global HR Process Consultant to join our growing team as the dedicated subject matter resource supporting the deployment projects.
Job summary:
The Global HR Process Consultant will represent the agreed global process model, for their assigned functional area. Working closely with our regions and countries across the globe, the role will involve championing adherence and alignment to the model, including use of enabling global technologies, whilst supporting necessary integration with other operating models. Leveraging their subject matter expertise, the Global HR Process Consultant will work with project and Talent teams globally to ensure successful deployment of the global process model across our diverse organization.
The Global HR Process Consultant will also work in partnership with the global functional Process Lead to support continuous process improvement, including assessment of change requests and design and deployment of both minor and major process changes.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Primarily supports the deployment of the global process model for their assigned functional area, to receiving countries and shared services centers
- Brings end to end subject matter expertise to all phases of deployments and global models and ensures continuity and connectivity throughout the deployment lifecycle
- Provides best practice process insights, to ensure process delivery is as efficient and effective as possible
- Reviews /validates deployment plans prepared by project team in respect of activities assigned
- Conducts process design and validation workshops to ensure the global model can work effectively and efficiently across the organization
- Identifies where deployment of the global process model may require local deviations, localizations or deferrals, or improvements and prepares supporting rationale for review and approval by the appropriate stakeholders
- Supports design and execution of knowledge transfer, testing and cutover activities, with involvement of country Talent team and shared services representatives
- Produces process deliverables such as updated process maps, workshop materials, knowledge transfer and test plans.
- Manages input from legal experts/ general counsel office as required, to evaluate rationale for proposed global process deviations
- Reports on key deployment status assessments for process activities, including preparation for toll gate and go live readiness reviews, supporting resolution of issues/risks as required
- Ensures adherence to agreed change control process and governance to ensure effective management of global process model updates
- Supervisors others to ensure appropriate update of process documentation to reflect agreed changes
- Develops HR Process knowledge in others by leading formal and information knowledge sessions, and as mentor and coach
- Connects with other HR Services members and teams to gather input and build solutions determining the most appropriate solutions based on the client needs
- Has ability to review and critically analyse regional processes to determine readiness to align to global process models.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- 3+ years of HR process and implementation experience
- Work experience in a Process role, with subject matter expertise in HR Processes or within Shared Services
- Previous experience managing process documentation, including process models, mapping and document updates
- Knowledge of HR Processes and supporting technology is a plus
- External process perspective, including trends and knowledge of best practices
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of Process Improvement methodologies
- Project Management skills
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills to develop and deliver engaging workshops with complex and detailed subject matter
- Experience in managing process change
- Proven problem solving and analytic capability
- Stakeholder management expertise, with a demonstrated ability to work successfully across teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Global mindset, with the ability to work and consult in a virtual environment
- Proficiency in the use of process documentation and process mapping software (Visio)
- Given the Global nature of the role, flexibility to work outside standard working hours is expected
