Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in various financial/ accounting positions
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Availability to start job at the latest in July 2017
- Very good language skills in English
- Communicative German would be an asset
- Completed degree in higher education in Finance
- Good knowledge and understanding of accounting controls
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellence communication skills and capability to adapt to a demanding environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability and confidence to operate at senior levels within company clients together
- Very good analytical skills
Responsibilities:
Scope of duties:
- Manage and lead GL Team (10-12 Accountants and Senior Accountants)
- Responsible for staff training and development (provide performance feedback to team members)
- Manage performance appraisal process and development of all reports
- Represent GL Team in internal and external meetings and workshops
- Hands-on approach – understanding tasks of individual team members and being able to step in if needed
- Control over the period end close, BS Reconciliation and day-to-day GL activities
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders
- Perform risk assessment, prepare and execute risk mitigation plan
