This position involves acquiring a thorough understanding of essential GL and Fixed Asset processes from beginning to end. Responsibilities include processing GL and Fixed Asset transactions, executing month-end closing activities, preparing Fixed Asset and General Ledger reconciliations, as well as month-end reports. Additionally, the role entails performing daily checks and consolidation data checks at month-end. Furthermore, participation in local and global projects is expected as directed by the Team Lead.
- Maintaining General Ledger – Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions in the general ledger accounts.
- Ensuring Accuracy & Compliance – Verifying financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Reconciling Accounts – Conducting regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Asset Management – Managing fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and impairment.
- Audit Support – Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement & Collaboration – Identifying efficiency improvements and working with other departments to enhance financial reporting and asset management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-2 years of experience in a multinational company, ideally within the General Ledger or Fixed Assets department.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Comprehensive understanding of core General Ledger and Fixed Asset processes.
- Experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
