Functional Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, tracking and monitoring of project related Functional Safety work packages and milestones in all phases of the safety lifecycle
- Cooperate with Project Manager, Development Team, Suppliers and Customers on Functional Safety
- Moderation of hazard analyses and risk assessments (HARA, HAZOP) as well as further safety analyses (FMEA, FTA and DFA) for electronic systems
- Support analysis of functional safety requirements and derivation of technical safety requirements
- Perform confirmation reviews and support verification reviews
- Plan and contribute to functional safety audits, assessments and software tool qualification
- Responsible for release evaluation regarding ISO 26262 as well as for the development
- of the safety case
Key Qualifications / Requirements:
- Min. 3 years relevant product and or technology experience regarding the responsibilities / activities (listed above) for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory)
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 with proven experience in the implementation of the standard in automotive programs
- Solid background in systems engineering, hardware engineering or software engineering in the Automotive and industrial application
- Experience in in the development of Battery and Battery management system (desirable)
- Knowledge in working with engineering processes (such as ASPICE) including requirements development and management, architectural concepts, design verification, and design validation
- Knowledge in the areas of safety analysis for System, Hardware and Software including FMEA, Common Cause Analysis, Dataflow Analysis, Dependent Failure Analysis, FTA, FMEDA
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 21434/UN R155 R156 (desirable)
- Planned and structured approach
- Ability to use English fluently in speaking and writing.
- Knowledge in Software Design Tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
