Your Impact:
We are an engineering company that delivers solutions and services to our internal and external customers. Our processes mainly focus on execution of projects and management of large investments and construction. We are looking for a candidate that would support Poland office in building and delivering solutions through a combination of existing technology & data. We use many engineering calculation and modelling tools in the process of project delivery, however we recognize that by increasing the efficiency of our working environment and making our processes more lean we can deliver projects in a more innovative and digital way.
Requirements:
- Help enhancing efficiency in use of existing engineering (modelling and calculation) tools and platforms used by different disciplines and groups (i.e. Autodesk, Bentley, etc.)
- Develop app/software/scripts that would enhance project delivery, data usage and communication between existing and new software (i.e. data capture and process automation – imports directly from vendors to data sheets, small-size calculation tools, etc.)
- Collaborate with project teams and PMs to determine best practices, possible improvements to project delivery processes and automation of tools
- Take part in global initiatives to design, develop and execute software solutions to address local business needs (workflows, libraries, database)
- Coordination with global Digital Delivery and Automation stakeholders on tools functionality and user interface
- Track projects/initiatves during Implementation to ensure on time completion of goals and milestones
- Drive process improvements to streamline work and provide a higher value to internal/external customers
- Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software
- Support and provide technical advice to tool automation team
- Troubleshoot coding problems, implementing end-users feedback and comments, releasing software fixes, customizing software tools per project needs
- Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching best practices in coding
- Develop and maintain documentation for tools and software
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Preferred skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in coordination of software application development
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience in an Agile environment, using some combination of:
– Python, C#, Java, .Net, .Net Core, WPF, MS Access, Excel+VBA, visual programming
– Web applications and managing data held in a relational database, SQL
- Experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skill are essential
Also welcomed:
- Knowledge of API for Autodesk/ Bentley software
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Dynamo
- Some Machine Learning experience would be an advantage
- Knowledge of numerical methods and FEM
- Knowledge of engineering design development workflows would be an advantage
