Financial Systems Manager

Manage Krakow Team and primary point of contact on Financial Projects and Financial Application Support team for configuration/issues/questions.  Troubleshoot issues, manage expectations, and report status to Corporate Team.  

• Insure knowledge transition from project to internal support.
• Support end users for GL, EX, AP and AM to insure prompt delivery of financials.
• Assists with gathering financial requirements and preparing documentation.
• Conduct system testing and provide documentation of results.
• Develop queries for end users.
• Troubleshoot problems and follow thru to resolution.
• Continuous system and process improvement.
• Gather information from Users to determine source of issues and provide solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to Users regarding system use and processing.
• Reconcile data for conversion and production interfaces.
• Investigate Security issues and provide guidance for new requests.

• Manage internal and external project and support resources.
• Works effectively with finance and systems personnel at high role level (i.e. CFO’s, Controllers, Vice Presidents).
• Leads and assists with global PeopleSoft Financial Application projects and support.
• Build exceptional relationships with Global End Users and gain their trust.
• Effectively manages support members Communicate, issues, changes and solutions within team and user base.
• Provides leadership and guidance to support members
• Change Management over-site and guardian of financial systems.
• Assists with tracking software upgrades, patches, testing and additional rollouts.   
• Provides assistance to end users to ensure their PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Cognos, and FDM experience is efficient and effortless.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or MIS is required and the equivalent financial systems integration and project management experience. 
• At least 2-3 years hands-on experience with PeopleSoft GL, AP, AM, and EX processing and ability to create, modify and copy queries.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Access
• Thorough knowledge and experience with finance systems, configuration, and IT support.
• Ability to identify and analyze organizational needs with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Proven effective leadership skills in being flexible, creative, team-oriented and process-driven. 
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the corporation as well as with outside vendors.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
