Given our expansion plans and exciting new projects, Capita is currently recruiting for the position of:
Financial Reporting Specialist will be part of the Group Finance team, responsible for the delivery of financial accounts.

Creating Financial Statements for group companies and associated tax reports, UK company statutory accounts and various additional ad hoc projects

Assisting in the production of statutory financial statements and corresponding notes for companies within Capita group

Specifying queries to the business

Providing additional supporting information and explanations that meet the needs of the external auditors

Have relevant experience across various finance and accounting processes including participation in production or audit of financial statements preferably in corporate environment

Hold a BA/BS/MA degree

Are self-disciplined and well organized

Have an ability to prioritise and work under pressure

Have very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with professionals at various levels

Are fluent in English, both spoken and written

Are proficiency in various F&A software packages i.e. SAP, Hyperion as well as Office (considered an asset)

Have partial qualification in recognized accounting certifications or courses (ACCA, CIMA, KIBR etc.) (considered an asset)

Have a knowledge of UK GAAP (considered an asset)
