Our Client, an international corporation, is opening for its European finance operations, a new SSC in Cracow. We are currently looking for experienced candidates for the position:
Financial Controller

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics
- 4-5 years' experience from Finance function in a shared service center function as financial controller
- Experience with Excel, SAP Bex or other BI tools working with large data sets
- Strong SAP knowledge and skills
- Understanding of IFRS
- Structured and analytical working style and attention to details and accuracy
- A team player with strong communication skills (and fluent English) who can communicate effectively with different stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the consolidation process at month end, from closing the general ledgers to reporting to the company via HFM
- Performing month-end tasks, including reconciliations, posting journals, and ensuring the integrity of the numbers as they flow through our systems
- Responsible for preparation and submission of monthly key performance indicators as part of the period end process
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of forecasts and budgets at entity level
- Liaising with the company over queries arising from reporting of monthly financial statements
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of accounts disclosures required by the company for the half year and full year reporting
- Principal contact for the auditors of the company plc the company at year end
- Ensuring the impact of any accounting developments and changes are assessed and understood
- Assisting in the development of existing system accounting processes and supporting projects to simplify and improve processes
- Undertake adhoc project work
