Position purpose
We are looking for a person who will be combining controlling and application management tasks - who has experience in working within Access environment. This person would be working closely with a controlling team.
Hired person will be responsible for development and management of controlling application. He/she successfully delivers administrative support for application environment, assurance of systems’ integrity, bugs elimination.
The job holder furthermore works with functional teams to continually improve internal support processes, tools and other support infrastructure. He/she will have a chance constant improvement of its knowledge and skills both in trainings and participation in various improvement projects.
He/she is an Access specialist with a deep understanding of finance/accounting processes and a hands-on manager.
Main accountabilities
- Play a key role in the Capgemini Team supporting client’s financial reporting systems transformation (following decision on significant business structure adjustment)
- Development and optimization of reports to support the client’s company operations in the area of analysis and reporting
- Building and adjusting cubes in client’s application
- Implementation & maintenance of hierarchies, creating necessary joins until fully functioning model is created
- Provide workshops and trainings to other Team members
- Resolve issues & respond to queries from customers
- Recommend solutions to improve database management
- Creation of technical documentation and design
Requirements
- At least 3 years working experience in respective activities
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or IT
- Knowledge of Access is a must
- Good command of English and German are required
- Very good understanding controlling processes
- Willingness to participate in a transition process
- Knowledge of SAP / SQL is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills is required since this is a client facing role
