We are a looking to appoint an expert in accountancy to work from our Office in Krakow on a permanent full time basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with the directors and will be responsible for ongoing management of financial aspects of the business. The duties will include overseeing the financial situation of the firm, providing appropriate advice, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, forecasting as well as ealing with VAT returns, P11ds and P35s and payroll duties.
To be appointed for the role you need to be ambitious, highly-organised and committed. You should also be able to communicate well with people on all levels and be trustworthy.
- Happy to relocate to work in Krakow, Poland.
- Chartered accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
- At least 2 years experience in UK Accounting
- Professional, problem solver, proactive, team worker, rigorous and detail oriented.
- You are smart, creative and practical at the same time.

- preparing Vat returns for the UK (limited company)
- making reconciliations of tax accounts,
- directly cooperating with Tax Authorities in UK and Poland,
- taking a part in internal tax projects,
- administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure
- auditing financial information
- compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans,
- commentaries and financial statements
- analysing accounts and business plans
- providing tax planning services with reference to current legislation
- financial forecasting and risk analysis
- managing colleagues, workloads and deadlines.
- preparation of monthly management report
- Prepare and record payroll journal entries (e.g., earnings, benefit withholdings, taxes, etc.)
- Analyze and evaluate certain key account balances and fluctuations
- Support internal and external auditors and government compliance on all payroll and employee benefit withholdings questions
- Prepare periodic schedules to support financial reporting and tax
- Respond timely and professionally to payroll and employee benefit withholdings inquiries
- Assist with Reliance and Blackline administration
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when required by the business
