Your role

We are looking for a team-member who will:
- contribute to the monthly and quarterly financial core processes to ensure consistent and well explained financial information towards the divisional senior management and the group
- take on challenges and conduct pro-actively to high quality financial analysis and deep-dives to support senior management meetings or ad-hoc requests
- maintain and further develop our analytical frameworks, tools and reports by continuously challenging the status quo and strive self-driven for ongoing improvements
- support the team in our further investment into the forward looking activities, such as estimate, forecast or the strategic planning process
- build a strong network and collaborate with team members and a broad range of surrounding stakeholders to ensure quality and fast information flow and close alignment within a multi-dimensional financial universe
Your team
You will be working in finance team supporting Swiss Business Division Personal & Corporate Banking, The team is involved to all Key Finance Processes of the Division starting from the strategic planning to the quarterly and annual external result presentation. Considering this scope you will be well informed and integrated into all top-down and bottom-up processes.
Your team is based in Zurich and Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park) and collaborates very closely on a day-to-day basis.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- at least 1 year of experience in the field of financial analysis or controlling, preferably in banking
- understanding of P&L and B/S
- strong numerical and analytical skills, high degree of reliability and readiness of mind
- strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint (MS Access will be an additional asset)
- talent for story lining, messaging and visualization on PowerPoint
- very good communication skills and ability to work in the team and with high profile stakeholders
- knowledge of SAP business warehouse, management information systems or Hyperion Essbase as an asset
You are:
- fluent in English, German is an additional asset
- proactive, communicative, flexible and self-motivated person, able to deliver efficiently high quality results under time pressure
- experienced in handling complexity
- able to question the status-quo and strive for process improvements
