Your role
Do you know financial services well? Can you quickly connect with any client group? Do you know how to bring out the best in everyone? We’re looking for someone like this to:
- support Local Finance Head as a proactive partner and independent strategic advisor to deliver end-to-end financial insights to the business
- manage team activities to achieve performance targets, operational level agreements and service levels
- develop the knowledge, skills and experience of team members
- recruit, train, cultivate and retain great people
- develop and maintain internal stakeholders' relationships through collaboration and challenge to deliver a service that fulfills the business's strategic objectives
- communicate with non-finance people and be able to explain financial concepts to them
Your team
You’ll be working in the Group Finance team in Zabierzow, Krakow Business Park. Our role is to support the EMEA region by providing accurate and reconciled financial information. Our key objective is to deliver high level reporting support on all operational and financial activities across all our locations.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- min. 2-3 years of experience in the area of financial analysis, accounting, controlling or finance in general with the exposure to senior stakeholders
- min. 1 year of team management experience [optional: preferably in a shared services center]
- knowledge of financial industry with strong understanding of BS and P&L dynamics
- the ability to take responsibility and stay focused on objectives with a can-do-attitude
- an aptitude for information technology (for learning management system usage and other tools like talent development and assessment tools)
You are:
- fluent in English and Italian (Spanish would be additional asset)
- an excellent communicator as well as customer orientated and focused on service quality
- comfortable with challenging the status quo in professional manner
- proactive and have self-motivated personality which enables you to deliver high quality results in an efficient manner and under time pressure
