Your role

- support Local Finance Head as a proactive partner and independent strategic advisor to deliver end-to-end financial insights to the business.
- develop and maintain internal stakeholders' relationships through collaboration and challenge to deliver a service that fulfils the business's strategic objectives.
- be a part of a European-based team, cooperate and participate in their activities.
- provide an integrated view of planning, organizing, analyzing and researching to address synthesized specific business solutions with problem description, finding, conclusion and recommendation.
- prepare key presentations and financial results.
- support various finance processes e.g. planning, estimating, forecasting, monthly and quarterly closing globally.
- possess strong commercial acumen, as well as knowledge and understanding of the client business and environment to contrast an internal picture with the external view
- communicate with non-finance people and be able to explain financial concepts to them.
- influence key decision-makers and supporting the business in strategic decision making.
Your team
You’ll be working in Group Finance, in a team of Finance Business Partners in Zabierzow, Krakow Business Park. As part of the EMEA Business Partnering team you will be supporting the local EMEA Finance heads in achieving full optimization of the firm's financial resources, proactively advising and challenging their business's activities, performance and strategy. The Local Finance Heads act as the primary point of contact for the Country Head (responsible for Wealth Management, Asset Management and Investment Bank country results).
Your experience and skills
You have:
- min. 2-3 years of experience in the area of financial analysis, accounting, controlling or finance in general
- good written and spoken English ( additional European language will be a plus)
- knowledge of financial industry with strong understanding of P&L dynamics
- previous people management experience (additional asset)
- knowledge of Business Objects, Hyperion Essbase or Cognos (additional asset)
You are:
- proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- able to question the status-quo and strive for process improvements
- able to prioritize own workload on a daily basis
- proactive and have self-motivated personality which enables you to deliver high quality results in an efficient manner and under time pressure
- comfortable with challenging the status quo
