With over 300 employees, the EMEA Finance Centre in Krakow provides financial services for Aon entities in multiple countries. What distinguishes the department is its energy and commitment to providing first-class accountancy and analysis.
This role gives the Finance Business Partner responsibility for the maintaining the company’s financial statements, management reporting and financial controls. Success in the role depends on your ability to partner with senior management and provide accurate financial data that supports business needs.
- Preparing monthly financial statements and other group reporting schedules for submission to the group head office
- Supporting the annual budgeting process, including the design of templates and the critical review of planning assumptions
- Preparing and presenting the monthly forecast updates to senior management on the company’s position relative to budget
- Partner with the Country leadership and other teams to deliver analysis and insights to influence the business and drive financial performance
- Maintaining overall responsibility for the day-to-day accounting of the captive management and insurance broking lines of business including month-end closing activities
- Managing the cash flow, treasury and receivables in a multi-currency environment
- Review and manage internal cost allocations
- Prepare additional ad hoc financial disclosures and reports
- Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, preferably with an audit background
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) would be a plus
- Knowledge of financial technical accounting
- Fluency in English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- An ability to continually seek to improve
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability and willingness to adjust working hours when required to meet tight reporting deadlines of a public company based in different time zone
