Finance and Administration Manager
Our client, a major multinational company operating in the industrial equipment industry with growing operations in Poland, is looking for a highly experienced and professional candidate for the role of Finance and Administration Manager. This individual will be responsible for supporting the overall growth and profitability of the company in Poland.
Job description:
- Finance and Controlling
- Establish, monitor and implement all necessary financial, Controlling and general administrative processes to comply with legal and Group requirements
- Ensure the accuracy of all financial information, monitor and provide regular and timely reports on financial performance to local and group management
- Supervise and monitor the entire accounting process including general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, inventory, fixed assets and cash management
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, taxation regulations, IFRS and Group reporting principles
- Create monthly, quarterly and year end reporting packages including analysis and explanation of major deviations versus plan and previous year
- Lead preparation of statutory year end closing and yearly tax packages
- Responsible for the budgeting and rolling forecast process
- Responsible for investment appraisal and cost accounting
- Provide ad-hoc analysis supporting the management and the operational departments
Administration
- Monitor, support and administrate leases and contracts, handle legal affairs
- Coordinate staff recruitment, training and development
- Coordinate payroll and benefits program with external payroll provider
- Ensure compliance to the local labour laws and (group) regulations with support of external specialists
- Coordinate the local IT activities in accordance with corporate IT
- At least a University level degree in Business Administration/Finance
- Excellent knowledge of local accounting standards as well legal and tax compliance requirements
- Good knowledge in IFRS is a must
- At least five years experience in a leading position in Finance & Accounting, in a broad role, ideally in an industrial environment with international orientation
- Good communication and interpersonal skill to operate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proactive, organized and independent problem solver
- Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadline
- Very good English both spoken and written
- Excellent Excel skills
- HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) knowledge is an advantage
