Finance Accounting and Reporting Process Lead

Job Description:
- Process oversight - review and control of the processes and data provided, assure quality within the process from the below areas:Bookings and reconciliation performed
- Performed various closing activities including: FX-revaluation, deferred income tax, regrouping, etc.
- Currency Balance sheet
- External reporting
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Main interfaces to Sub ledgers
- Process Lead in case of support/collaboration needed in those various projects such as the analysis and implementation of Group Chart of Accounts changes
- Liaison with local client legal entities
- Key contact for process discussions
- Transition duration: 3 months in client’s locations (European countries), planned periods: 3 weeks within a month on transition
Candidate's profile:
- University degree in economics or business administration
- More than 5 years of relevant experience
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English
- Good accounting knowledge GL (insurance experience is a huge plus)
- Good knowledge of financial services legislation, regulations and international accounting standards is a plus
- Certified accounting qualification e.g. CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent (Poland Accountant Certificate)
- IFRS/IAS experience
- Practical accounting experience and management of financial systems and budgets, reporting, data analysis, (experience within the insurance or banking industry is a plus)
- Previous experience in the oversight of the accounting processes and data
