Failed Flights Executive
MAIN DUTIES:
• To support the UK aviation team as required and comply with the agreed working practices to present an efficient and cost effective area for the business.
• To process all flight time changes (charter and LowCost), amend internal systems, and communicate the changes to our customers within set guidelines and across the business when required.
• To collate and communicate all APIS details within airline and company guidelines.
• To monitor, maintain and process all aviation related e-mails/tasks within time scales set by the Aviation Department.
• To work to agreed daily and weekly KPIs set by the reporting Manager in all areas of the role.
• To monitor all Aviation related mailboxes and action all e-mails within the company and departmental time frames.
• To assist all departments, UK and International, with Aviation related queries.
• To amend system bookings, with minimal delay, and communicate within the business as agreed internally.
• To communicate both internally and externally as directed and agreed, including direct contact with our customers.
• To re-protect, all flight components for UK and International brands which have failed the booking process. To complete the changes within the company’s internal systems and adhere to company SLAs.
• To monitor bookings, track flight prices and book within set company guidelines.
• Collate and communicate flight volume data as per business requirements.
• To continuously seek to improve the ways of working across the team/business.
REQUIREMENTS:
• To demonstrate a committed “can do” attitude and a flexible approach towards the role with the willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
• Flexibility to apply the same approach for ad-hoc and emergency requirements outside of the daily remit.
• Strong written and spoken English
• Ability to handle difficult situations and customers
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the role with the “goal” of 100% accuracy.
• Customer service levels, both verbally and written, to be of an excellent and professional standard.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role in addition to the ability to work as a part of a team and/or alone as required.
• Knowledge of aviation would be beneficial.
• A strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
