Factory Supply Chain Specialist (Feeder Factory and Insulation Components Factory)

As a result of dynamic growth of our organization we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Factory Supply Chain Specialist (Feeder Factory and Insulation Components Factory). The person hired in this position will be responsible for strategic sourcing activities by ensuring material availability, delivery performance and cost competitiveness.
Your responsibilities
- Manage local/HUB allocated other direct spend in accordance with PG/BL instructions and guidelines.
- Manage Hub allocated spend for the category insulation in the area of Traction for 2 factories and other direct allocated spend.
- Support and implement the HUB sourcing strategy in the factory by providing input to factory requirements to the RFx margin improvement processes.
- Be accountable for material price as well as Terms & Conditions control throughout the value chain.
- Lead SCM activities related to order execution by planning, assigning, and executing tasks to secure material availability and optimum costs.
- Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluations (SPE) for the HUB identified suppliers and non-categorized spend selected suppliers.
- Execute on SCM related local activities for R&D, new product introduction, product cost improvement project. Propose and perform make vs buy studies and run the SCM implementation of the related project.
- Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates following HR policies. Coordinate talent management and succession planning within the assigned area.
Your background
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in economics or technical education.
- Ability to work in teams (remote and face to face teams), within deadlines and under time pressure.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Excellent work organization and setting priorities.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Experienced in Transformers or Traction area will be an asset.
- Good spoken and written English and Polish is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, strong analytical skills.
