Environmental Validation Engineer

ZF TRW is a developer and producer of active and passive safety systems and serves all major vehicle manufacturers worldwide with an established footprint that includes facilities in more than 20 countries. It maintains 22 technical centers and 13 test tracks in vital markets around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of validation documentation (e.g. Customer requirements , internal procedures, tests plans);
- Preparing test specification and test cases. Perform environmental testing of various TRW’s Products;
- Collecting test result and problem reporting;
- Preparing test reports;
- Working with tools supporting test activity (e.g. Test Operation Data Base configuration management system, PDM , MKS);
- Regular communication with global project team;
- Coordination/planning of test activities within the project according to project milestones on available Equipment;
- Prepare reports/metrics for project management;
- Investigate and develop environments for test and validation.
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical, environmental, HVAC , electronics, or electrical engineering;
- Communicative English skills; additional German language is an advantage
- Knowledge of Environmental Validation Testing;
- Understanding of Climatic / Environmental Customer Requirements and implementations those into Climatic Laboratory;
- Maintain and Support Environmental Infrastructure;
- Good Knowledge of Chemical Processes, Materials, and Climatic Issues;
- Good understanding of Mechanical / Vibrations issues;
- Basic Understanding of electronic circuits;
- Knowledge of measurement equipment (Oscilloscopes , Generators, Multi-meters, etc.).
