EMEA Global Sourcing Analyst (in Purchasing)
Location: Kraków

You will be participating in the build-up of the new Global Sourcing processes through the Data & Market Analyst role in a team environment. You will work in a multinational and multicultural company with high standards of work, in a friendly and dynamic work environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing research and support to the purchasing category management team
- Obtaining data/information as requested by the team from a variety of sources
- Preparing spend, price benchmarking and other analyses based on variety of sources, including our systems (SAP, Business Warehouse, Sharepoint etc.), governmental indexes and a broad array of public sources
- Providing insights on category spend and savings opportunities based on spend analysis and experience working with other category teams
- Creating and refining cost models for sourced goods/services (‘clean sheet’)
- Analyzing responses on Request For Information (RFI) and Request For Proposal (RFP)
- Providing information and analyses to support negotiations with suppliers.
- Occasionally taking part in the meetings and negotiations with suppliers
- Assisting in developing savings tracking approach for purchasing category
- Performing financial analysis on key suppliers to determine financial wherewithal, cost drivers, opportunities
- Analyzing macro-economic data as required to develop supply market analyses and assist in “go to market” strategy development
- Working with buyers to develop and implement supplier scorecards where necessary
- Evaluating project opportunities and determine financial impacts over time
- Preparing spreadsheets, summaries and graphical analyses to assist the team as needed
- Working closely with the procurement category management team to dissect information and provide it to other team members to deliver greater insight to market opportunities
- Data analysis and compliance reporting
- Supporting other special procurement activities and analyses as needed
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Sufficient educational background and/or experience in data entry, data collection and data analysis is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English is essential
- Knowledge of any other European language such as Spanish, French or Italian is required
- Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP/Business Warehouse
- Technical background would be an advantage
- Limited travel required
