The EMEA FICO & HR App. Services Manager directs a team of up to 10 people to provide global implementation, enhancement, and support services for Finance and Human Resource applications (primarily but not limited to SAP). You will cooperate closely with IT counterparts in the Payroll, Talent Management, Cash Management, and General Ledger teams in the U.S. You will also collaborate with IP Polska HR teams and the Krakow-Finance organizations. You will have the opportunity to develop leadership and managerial competencies in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, gain valuable experience with several modules within SAP and develop professional relationships with IT partners in Memphis, Brussels, and throughout the world.
- Build relationships with process/business unit partners, identifying and structuring solutions to ensure alignment with their requirements
- Display leadership for continuous quality improvement by documenting and instituting common, repeatable and scalable processes
- Understand global system implications to issues and processes associated with SAP and related systems
- Participate in business process redesign as needed for new and/or upgraded technology
- Oversee the process of translating customers’ high level requirements into functional specifications
- Direct a team of up to 10 people
- Lead recruitment processes to identify successful candidates and maintain bench strength
- Coach team members on a daily basis. Assist them with creating development plans that will help them achieve their career goals
- Work with customers to understand, and in some cases proactively anticipate, their needs
- Build effective partnerships with internal and external customers
- Provide support and maintenance of business processes within applications, carry out corrective actions in a timely manner and keep IP applications up to date
- Be point of escalation for operational concerns
- Be Responsible for deployment, support, and maintenance of the following applications:
- SAP Human Resources (primarily Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Organizational Management )
- SAP Finance and Cost (including AR, AP, GL, Treasury, Cost and Profitability)
- SAP Asset Management
- SAP Project Systems
- Other enabling applications such as BI reports (S&A Reporting) and European Rebates application
- Minimum 2 years people leadership experience (Manager, Team Lead or Project Manager)
- 5 or more years of experience with SAP (with preference of FI, CO, and PY modules experience, equivalent technologies may be considered)
- Strong language skills (English required, plus at least one of the following: French, Polish, Russian, Italian or Spanish)
- Solid foundational understanding of Finance and Human Resources business processes
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
