Join our Aerospace Electronics team as an Electronics Packaging Engineer. We are seeking a skilled and passionate engineer to model, design and validate electronics packaging for new generation of airbone engine controllers

- Packaging design preparation using CAD programs for aerospace products
- Creation/review of engineering specifications, case studies, verification and validation plans and test reports
- CAD model creation of electronic packaging designs
- Assembly drawing and Piece Part drawing creation
- Tolerance stack-up analysis
- Creating bill of materials (BOM) for designed components and top levels
- Thermal and Vibration analysis and tests
- Supporting of engineering standard work (Product Life Cycle process, Engineering Change process, etc.)
- Performing detailed analysis to evaluate potential solutions that would reduce risk, cost and complexity of design and test problems
- Troubleshooting design problems and determining solutions

Must have:
- 2 years of proven experience in the related industry
- Proven experience in 3D design and 2D drafting
- Knowledge of GD&T standard
- Knowledge of electronics packaging technologies
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, as well as shop standards and the impact on designs
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Teamwork abilities
- Would be a plus:
- Basic knowledge of electronics design
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt
- Basic use and understanding of FEA tools
- Experience in 3D CAD with Creo Parametric or other (Solid Edge, CATIA, Siemens NX)
- Experience in design and development of Safety Critical applications
