In our facility in Niepołomice we are designing, manufacturing and testing electronic controllers for aerospace and various industries, converters for wind-energy and mechanical components for aerospace and energy industry.
Join our Aerospace Electronics Platform team as Electronics Component Engineer. You will be responsible for electronics components, used in designs/applications for monitoring and controlling the critical aircraft systems like engine and flight surface.

- Review and check components towards approved vendors and preferred electronics parts lists
- Technical support for NPI development teams in selecting new parts for their designs
- Updating items and populating their characteristics, creating new components in Woodward database
- Perform replacements for electronic component which are obsolete
- Preparing Engineering Changes / Engineering Change Requests to make necessary changes in Woodward ERP System
- Support for project teams in components environmental and life cycle reviews
- Prepare obsolescence reports per customer requirements
- Coordinate with PCBA contract manufacturers for component issues
- Review PCNs received from manufacturers to determine impact on existing products
- Maintain EEE Master Parts List and AML documentation
- Must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
- Previous Component Engineering experience
- 4 years+ of proven experience in the related industry
- Experience in reading and understanding electronic components specification (electrical, mechanical, environmental, technology parameters)
- Basic know-how of electronics (analog and digital circuits)
- Good skills in problem analysis and solving
- Competent in the using of PCs and associated software
- Solid teamwork and communication abilities
- Effective communication skills in Englishto operate effectively in the international project team environment
- Would be a plus:
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt
- Practical knowledge of Mentor Graphics or similar e-CAD tools environment
- Knowledge of standards for airborne electronic hardware (e.g. DO-254, DO-160, etc.)
- Self-disciplined to work on assigned tasks and meet the schedule
