Join our Engineering Team as an Electrical Engineer

Electrical design and product support of IGBT frequency converters for use in multi megawatt wind power plants

Specification and selection of power electronic components; definition and performance of tests

Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of design problems and determining solutions to problems encountered, e.g. conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, etc.

Creating and updating BOM's, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and test plans, technical coordination with suppliers

Supporting and executing Factory or Field Acceptance Tests with attendance of customers and control agencies

Working on assigned tasks autonomously and able to work independently at customer’s facilities during commissioning

Active work with internal engineering quality systems (Product Life Cycle process, FMEA, Engineering Change process, etc.)

Performing detailed analysis to evaluate potential solutions that would reduce risk, cost and complexity of design and test problems

Possibly guiding and/or directing cabinet assembly and test technicians

Driving improvements for future projects by creation of “Lessons Learned” and cost reduction programs

Take an active role in an international engineering team

Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
-
More than 4 years of proven experience in industry

Working experience in designing and documenting electrical power systems (switchboards, power electronics frequency and DC/DC converters)

First experience in root cause analysis helpful but not mandatory

Understanding of electrical component functions and testing

Demonstrated ability to communicate well in English, orally and through written documentation

Readiness to work overtime, international travel and perform other duties when required

Ability to effectively operate in the international project team environment and communicate with customers
