Due to the participation of our company in a long-standing (more than 6 years) Maintenance and Modification type project for Statoil including 10 platforms engineering service, we are currently in need of candidates for the following position:
Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Identifying scope of work for electrical systems
- Carrying out electrical system design activities
- Selection and specification of electrical system equipment based on Client requirements
- Coordinating with other discipline groups
- Producing and reviewing engineering documents, study reports and design calculations
- Participating in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests)
- Providing input to planning and reporting systems
- Providing input to procurement
- Providing input to tenders
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of low and medium voltage electrical systems
- Specification and selection of electrical equipment
- Specification, selection and calculations for power cables
- Electrical power generation and distribution (calculations, layouts, routing, grounding)
- Lighting design and calculations
- Heat tracing design & calculations
- Experience in design of electrical installations including equipment selection in Hazardous Area
- Min 3 years of relevant experience
- Able to work in a teamwork environment with a group of designers and engineering professionals.
- Good command of written and spoken English (minimum B2 level)
