he EDI Center of Excellence provides solutions and services to IT and the Business for application-to-application and business-to-business systems connectivity. The employee will be member of the EDI CoE Project Delivery Team in BR&S. The teams responsibilities cover a wide range of integration requirements ranging from simple file transfer, EDI, secure internet communication and application-to-application message brokering using different message and file brokers as well as business consultancy.
The team is currently supporting the business to improve all EDI communication for our trading partners. The growth of EDI communication continues throughout Europe. Also, there is increasing business emphasis on the communication channels to our external partners that do not involve traditional EDI. These comprise a range of B2B tools including web-based services for our customers and suppliers.
The EDI Project Delivery Specialist has to provide high quality conceptual and development services. The role may also participate in local and international projects to design, develop and implement integration solutions that are required by other application delivery teams.

Take responsibility for assigned projects and tasks in EDI CoE

Coordinate communication with all parties involved in assigned projects
-
Make sure the assigned projects are delivered in time and budget with good quality

Identify and agree requirements and specifications for assigned projects

Working with international application teams within or outside of Electrolux to design EDI solutions and to assess impact on applications and business relations

Definition and clarification of interface message formats using standard formats like EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, XML and/or self designed in-house or other formats

Direct the development of integration solutions for the Electrolux message/file broker environment Axway Synchrony Integration Broker and Synchrony File Broker

Following the defined change control procedures for moving new System Integration components into production

An adequate level of documentation is provided and the documentation is stored in the appropriate repository to ensure access by support and development staff

All delivery conforms to the defined processes and procedures operational in IT and the EDI CoE

Achieve high level customer satisfaction with projects and support of the solutions delivered

Experience of managing medium size international projects

Experience with EDI projects in analysis, design and delivery

Knowledge of a project management methodology would be an advantage

Knowledge of common data format standards (e.g. EDIFACT, XML)

Knowledge of common file transfer methods (e.g. MQ, X.400, AS2)

Knowledge of Electrolux business processes or business application systems an advantage

General knowledge of a message broker environment

Knowledge of Axway Synchrony platform an advantage

Knowledge of a programming language an advantage

Ability to Work in an international environment
