EDI / Informatica PowerCenter Consultant

Responsibilities:
- Working directly with clients, internal IT team and 3rd party vendors
- Communicating clients' needs with the technical / implementation team
- Be a shareholder of any IT project with regard to audit and compliance
- Providing EDI support
- Development of Informatica PowerCenter
- Travelling to client sites in Spain and Portugal once or twice per quarter
- Designing, developing, implementing and supporting integrations for EDI projects
- Understand and actively supporting resolution of day-to-day issues/challenges
- Serving as focus/escalation point for any site issue/activity
- Understanding business activities/issues and how they relate to IT systems
- Ensuring timely delivery of projects
- Managing, reporting and communicating Helpdesk Ticket levels and resolution
- Monthly status reporting (including prioritisation of Helpdesk tickets/Change requests and progress made during the month)
- Engagement of local resources for testing / regression testing
Requirements:
- Good understanding of Informatica PowerCenter
- Ability to develop interfaces and create reports
- Thorough knowledge relating to Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes
- Fluency in English
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- A positive attitude inspiring confidence in other people
- Management of 3rd party vendors (including outsourced processes)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously while also being a team player
- Excellent communicator with the ability to work at all levels (both written and verbal)
- Structured working methods with a logical approach to work
- Able to work within a multi-cultural environment to achieve the best results for all
- Able to multi-task and make things happen with a sense of urgency. A positive outlook and a desire for results are essential qualities
- Be able to influence people at all levels
- Resilient and resourceful – able to manage a large workload
Nice to have:
- Industry knowledge of FMCG business
- Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally PeopleSoft, SAP or Navision
