Purpose:
As eCommerce Junior Key Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing the online business, especially focusing on click & mortar and marketplace customers.
You will be tasked with achieving annual sales and strategic targets within an assigned budget to drive the growth of the assigned accounts in line with the agreed company strategy, as well as building successful relationships internally with the appropriate teams to ensure full omni-channel execution.
Experienced in managing eCommerce channels/customers, you will be working cross functionally, running the account team day to day across category management, customer service & supply chain, whilst liaising and aligning with eCommerce Channel Head on core customer strategies.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the eCommerce account P&L and implementation of the activity plan, including managing online sales plans and execution, brand and corporately developed sales & marketing programs on e-retailers sites
- Coordination of digital marketing campaigns and best in class product presentation with eCommerce Trade Content & eMerchandising team
- Manage category basics, define and implement clear digital business and category development strategies
- Implement, measure and monitor the performance of each account plan taking decisive action to deliver sales revenue in line with plan
- Implement the sales vision for retailers including utilizing the principles from local and global eCommerce team
- Ensure national agreements are implemented and optimized as well as contribute to the development of corporate sales and marketing programs
- Responsible, with the eCommerce Channel Head, for the channel sales forecasting process
- Support and implement recommendations for account development
- Maintain close collaboration with the Trade Marketing Team, offline Key Account Managers and other key strategic stakeholders to ensure the account develops a true omni-channel approach and full implementation of marketing and product development plans in line with the customer strategy
- Be the key customer contact representing Mars Petcare in day-to-day inquiries as well as in key account negotiations

- Proven experience in managing eCommerce channels/ customers and familiar with the requirements of successful e-commerce business is a must
- Experience in successfully managing key accounts in FMCG, Consumer Durables/Lifestyle or B2B
- Ideally national or regional chain experience, familiar with all aspects of a chain’s corporate and store operations, having gained the skillset to manage the chain through product category management expertise
- Committed to self-development and can demonstrate a willingness to operate outside of his/her comfort zone with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Well organized with time management, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Team player with ability to work and collaborate effectively with cross functional team
- Higher education – ideally in a business related discipline
- Strong command in verbal and written English, Polish
- Driving licence
