Job description

In this role you will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing authorized resellers to sell company products and services in geographic areas or named accounts. You are the representative of Fluke to resellers to maximize revenue through all sales-oriented activities including adding value to products, support of sales promotions, advertising and marketing activities.

Primary function/major responsibilities:

  • Identifies and pursues new business through effective management of reseller/distributor representative companies and associates;

  • achieves business revenue objectives by assigned reseller entity;

  • assures reps are educated on our products;

  • tracks and monitors end-user customer satisfaction to retain business and execute marketing and promotions strategies to achieve or exceed new sales revenue targets;

  • completes administrative reporting accurately and on time and accurately forecasts revenues.

  • responsible for an average dollar quota/territory compared to the organization’s average quota;

  • responsible for a cross-section of accounts;

  • initiates customer contact/visits with existing and prospective customers. May act as lead in a team when presenting products/services to existing or prospective customers;

  • demonstrates a broad knowledge of the organization’s entire product line;

  • establishes and maintains contacts and rapport with customers and prospects;

  • operates under general supervision. Performs sales, service, and administrative tasks and procedures under self-direction.

Working conditions:

  • Frequent travel and long hours

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in electronic or electrical engineering or equivalent;

  • Minimum of 5- years relevant sales experience. Experience in selling technical products through Distributor channels;

  • experience in managing key accounts;

  • preferably has knowledge and understanding of Fluke product functioning and applications (or similar products), autonomous from the technical point of view;

  • demonstrated ability to manage and develop Distribution Channels;

  • ability to analyse situations, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;

  • ability to comprehend test and measurement tools and their applications;

  • excellent sales skills;

  • great time management skills;

  • flexible. Able and willing to travel extensively within Poland;

  • Fluent in English and Polish;

  • strong communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to use them at several organizational levels;

  • independent, pro-active and self-organized;

  • proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
