What would you be responsible for in this role?
- Direct the work of the product line software development teams
- Supervise, mentor and grow Senior Managers, Managers, Program Managers and Principal Developers
- Work with Product Management team to deliver high-quality, technically sound products on schedule
- Drive all aspects of recruiting including attracting, building and retaining a highly skilled Engineering team
- Effectively collaborate in a fast paced environment with multiple business teams
- Promote good software development and project management practices
Wymagania
What is needed for this position?
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing and shipping commercial software
- 3+ years in a technical management position
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- English on advanced level
- Strong time management skills
- Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, and intelligent thinking
- Solid understanding of agile software development processes
- Programming experience
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of IT technologies (networking, virtualization, systems management, etc.)
- Project management experience
- Willing to travel internationally on occasion
- Prior experience directing an engineering team including a history of developing leadership
