The Digital Media Monitoring Analyst & Team Co-ordinator will be responsible for people agenda and operational co-ordination of media monitoring efforts that includes analysing, tagging and summarizing digital news items (newswire articles, newspaper articles, online news channel articles, tv clips, radio clips).

Day to day operational responsibility for the timely and high quality driven analysis of digital media for the entire scope of services of digital media monitoring:
- reading, interpreting and tagging (e.g. by topic, importance, sentiment) of news items
- writing editorial summaries of content from selected news items
- compiling of press reviews maintenance and adaption of search strings to identify relevant news items
- Fluent English and German (full proficiency in writing)
- Proven experience in team management including delegation, career development and managing change within the team
- Positive attitude towards changes and challenges with focus on out of box thinking
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience with exposure to analyzing and summarizing traditional and / or on-line media assets
- Ability to freely write editorial summaries about complex business in high quality to capture the most important aspects
- Ability to translate text abstracts from German to English (business domain)
- Exposure to financial services or proven interest in media relations, journalism, translating will be important assets
- Ability to absorb training of data mining and reporting applications
- Mindset for learning business domain (Financial Services) knowledge
- Skills in planning and prioritization, detail orientation and results focused
