We are MSS Surveillance IT. We work within investment banking IT organization and with other global businesses to protect our stakeholders from illegal or prohibited activity across channels, including but not limited to trading activity, audio communications and electronic communications.
We work in small teams, bringing development, testing, business analysis, QA and system reliability together. We have started on our journey towards working in a truly agile, no-silos environment. Our teams write their code, write automated test harnesses for their code, use automated mechanisms to deploy their code, and are accountable for their code in Production, including monitoring to ensure they work uninterrupted while delivering new code. All the while they also work closely with business analysts and business stakeholders to deliver value in a steady, incremental stream.
For us, DevOps is not just about technology automation (automated build, test and release). It is about a cultural focus on working cross-functionally and delivering in small increments. We do need people who are 100% focused on automated delivery and are capable of working in dynamic, cross-functional teams to make this happen!
As we're at the start of our Agile/DevOps journey, joining us will enable you to make a lasting impression in a key regulatory/compliance function in one of the world's largest banks.
The purpose of this role will be to develop in Agile team located in Krakow. The successful candidate will help to develop strategic products under Surveillance Data Factory team to support and improve Surveillance's way of working in order to achieve strategic objectives.
- Should be able to manage multiple environments.
- Communicate with the relevant project teams regarding resolving technical / application issues related to delivery of projects.
- Work with Engineering and operations to ensure our environment is monitored appropriately.
- Ensure SLA commitments are met, and escalate accordingly.
- Provide Deployment activities to create & maintain development, test, UAT and production environments in project deployment phase.
- Establish, document and implement the best practices in the end to end application initiation and deployment processes.
- Working for continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Should have flexibility as per project needs.
- 5+ year minimum experience in banking domain
- Should have experience working in agile and devops environment using team collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA.
- Should be strong in Unix and SQL Administration.
- Should be strong in Shell Scripting /Python / Perl scripting (any one).
- Should have prior experience working on DEVOPS tools like GIT, Jenkins, Ansible/Puppet.
- Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data).
- Good analytical and problem analysis skills.
- Experience of planning and prioritizing their own time effectively, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently.
- Should be excellent team member and work as a cross-functional team member and liaise with other Specialist.
