Description
We are looking for a new talent to join our rapidly growing team established for worldwide retail pharmacy company. Our teams are co-located with the customer in Deerfield, IL. We deliver various services in this strategic partnership to build a new pharmacy platform: Product architecture and development, Integration, DevOps, User Experience and Design, Agile coaching. You will join a distributed team that will be supporting new web-based technology stacks as part of a push to a cloud and containerized environments.
Requirements
- Solid experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing proposals to resolve problems
- Experience with Java build pipeline (Maven, Bamboo/Jenkins, Artifactory)
- Knowledge of git, and git workflows (git-flow, branching/merging, TBD, etc)
- Experience in Linux Administration (RHEL)
- Experience with automation/configuration management using Chef or equivalent
- Experience with cloud IaaS/PaaS and container orchestration platforms (Azure and K8S)
- Experience with SQL language
- A working understanding of scripting languages (shell as a must, Python/Ruby - nice to have)
- Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with containers and build pipelines relevant to them (Docker, Packer, Jenkins pipelines to utilize them)
- Experience with application servers (WildFly, WebSphere - nice to have)
- Experience with monitoring tools (ELK, Dynatrace - nice to have)
- Good communication, interpersonal, intuitive skills with an ability to work efficiently in both independent and team work environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics
- Good knowledge of English
- Provide release support in accordance with the release calendar
Responsibilities
- Provide release and application support for developers and QA across the IT organization
- Act in accordance with DevOps roadmap, implementing solutions related to automation of building, integrating and deployment of software to the cloud, containerized and on-premise environments
- Take part in daily activities to ensure stability and operability of environments and application stack, provisioned to developers and QA
- Provide release support in accordance with the release calendar
