For our Client, international company which provides indoor climate solutions for all types of buildings, we are currently looking for:
Design Engineer in the research & development department
Main duties:
- working as part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to deliver ranges of new products (following D/PFMEA reviews, CFD & FEA analysis, APQP planning)
- undertake theoretical calculation & analysis
- prototyping, validation testing & report writing to demonstrate sound engineering practice according to relative European standards throughout development cycle
- find innovative solutions for new products
- collaborate with customers to find new system solutions
- provide customer support for applications in the field
- support the production and quality departments to resolve claims by suppliers and suggestions coming from the market
- maintain & improve existing products
- contribute to an attractive and pleasant working atmosphere in the company in general and the Technical Department in particular
Requirements:
- degree level education in Engineering or related subject
- good computer skills
- working level of written & spoken English required due to professional,international working environment
- preference will be given to candidates with 10+ years of experience in similar jobs and candidates proficient in technical drawing using design software (specifically SolidEdge / SolidWorks)
- candidates should be conscientious & diligent, creative, communicative & self-motivated and ready for further development and training
