Capita Poland's Krakow Business Centre was established in late 2011. We are a multi-disciplinary business process outsourcing centre set up by the Capita Group Plc. The centre provides state-of-the-art services offering employees the opportunity to work for various clients and develop expertise in a wide range of disciplines. At Capita Krakow we deliver multilingual business service that range from managing complex processes to more transparent transactions.
Given our expansion plans in a number of sectors and the addition of some exciting new projects, Capita is currently recruiting for the position of:
The Developer is responsible for designing/analysing code, implementing and maintaining software within agreed standards to facilitate the achievement of defined projects or large system maintenance requirements.

Engage with the Business Analysts and System Analysts, to understand, clarify and confirm requirements and low level technical design

Engage with Product Specialists/Solution Designers to understand, clarify and confirm the design and architecture

Code, configure, correct, and document applications/ code enhancements which meet defined specifications in accordance with standards and guidelines

Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules

Tailor activities within the solution delivery methodology (e.g. Agile) to each set of project requirements and timelines

Identify applicable system platform, components, and dependencies
-
Provide uniform integration into legacy systems
-
Ensure interface specifications are included in completed deliverable
-
Adhere to CAS disaster recovery procedures
-
Ensure that development methodologies and coding standards adhere to security policies set by the CIO Office ; adhere to Solution Design/Development CoE standards

Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation to comply with quality assurance and implementation standards and to facilitate ease of review as required

Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications

Undertake required implementation work and impact analysis in order to achieve stated objectives within defined standards

Ensure all code in software configuration management tool set and adheres to SCM standards and perform unit testing and review output evidence with test

Review test approach and contribute to it to ensure its effectiveness; work with Test prior to code completion to clarify what code has changed

Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Oracle11g and PL/SQL development.

Oracle 11g (Database set-up, installation and configuration, environment creation)

PL/SQL development

Proficient with SQL Developer and Toad tools

Working knowledge of TFS required

Knowledge of query optimization tools like Code Expert and Oracle analyzer.
