Your role
In this role you will act as the interface between the Business Division, the Legal Structure Committee (LSC) and the Legal Structure Database Team (LSDB Team). You are responsible for data capture and upload of relevant documents to the Legal Structure Data Base LSDB which is UBS's central register and Group-wide master database for all UBS Entities, Special Purpose Entities and Equity Holdings.
In particular you will be:
- responsible for the data quality of the assigned entities in the LSDB;
- in regular contact with the SPE Executives to receive annual sign-offs FATCA, Volcker Rule, Accounting);
- ensuring that all necessary changes on information are reflected in the LSDB;
- point of contact for LSDB related questions and in close contact with the LSDB team;
- notifying the appropriate functional role holder or management body of the relevant entity about known missing key role holders;
- knowledgeable of the LSC process (e.g. if necessary liaise with the LSC Secretary whether a field change request is LSC relevant or not);
- reviewing information on entities in the entity database and updating / populating the relevant fields;
- escalating important issues to the appointed function role holder of relevant entity;
- following up on data quality check requests from the LSDB Team;
- keeping yourself informed concerning the latest requirements on how to handle entity governance and in particular on how to work with the LSDB.
Your team
You will be working in the entity governance team that is part of Asset Management Business Risk Management. Together with other individuals involved in the entity governance business you will UBS entity governance is working efficiently and all relevant risk issues are managed appropriately.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- an undergraduate degree
- 1-2 years background in business risk, data analyst or process management;
- a reliable and structured approach to work
- self-motivation and you are a passionate achiever with strong communication skills
