To accelerate our growth and become the global leader in our market, we are expanding our Administration Team - resulting in the role of Data Protection Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing SaaS company to help scale our Sales organization. As a Data Protection Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Company in ensuring the compliance of personal data processing including monitoring compliance with data protection regulations and the Company's policies and procedures in the field of personal data protection.
In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact between the Company and the relevant data protection authorities and data subjects.
You have knowledge of GDPR and you know how to help improve our management of potentially sensitive information, carry out regular internal security audits, and act as the main point of contact between SALESmanago and the data protection authorities.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and management skills, and also the ability to lead training sessions and workshops with members of staff. You’ll often be asked to work independently in this role, but also to communicate with all relevant employees as you promote a culture of data protection compliance within the organization.
- Act as the primary point of contact within the organization for members of staff, regulators, data subjects, and any relevant public bodies on issues related to data protection
- Ensure the Company’s policy is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and codes of practice
- Evaluate the existing data protection framework and identify areas of non or partial compliance and rectify any issues
- Devise training plans and provide data protection advice and support for members of staff
- Inform and advise the Company acting as a data controller or data processor on all matters related to data protection
- Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization
- Prepare and update internal procedures regarding personal data protection
- Maintain and update the register of processing activities and the register of categories of processing activities
- Monitor changes in the personal data protection law as well as recommendations and guidelines of the supervisory authorities, and inform the Management Board of the Company and the Company's employees about such changes and guidelines
- Minimum of three years experience working in data protection compliance, in particular as a data protection officer or as a deputy data protection officer
- Expertise in European data protection laws and practices including an in-depth understanding of the GDPR and guidelines from the competent supervisory authorities
- Experience within a legal, audit, and/or risk function department, legal training would be an asset
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

- Fluency in English (B2/C1)
