This position is responsible for providing support to our Corporate Procurement team, by developing standard and custom reports, managing reporting activities and data enhancement requests.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Is responsible for creating regular periodic and ad hoc reports for Corporate Procurement in support of category management, strategic sourcing, and executive reporting by extracting, aggregating and customizing data from Oracle and Ariba and other internal/external data sources.
- Analyzes data and provides recommendations to the Procurement team for areas of improvement, concerns and value; Develops reports and visualizations to support a variety of use-cases, from more data-heavy analysis to more refined dashboards, charts and presentations.
- Supports ongoing tracking of project status, savings tracking and conducts other project management support.
- Will be subject matter expert in the spend analysis system, understanding data structure, reporting capabilities etc. Executes spend analysis, identifies spend patterns and potential areas of spend consolidation.
- Will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing existing reports and creating new reports/analysis in support of Procurement’s goals.s
- Backs up other reporting analyst when out of the office (and vice versa)
- Uses superior interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with managers and functional partners at all levels of the organization
- Utilizes Ariba, Oracle Purchasing, and other systems to perform the job
The ideal candidate has good working knowledge of reporting tools and is experienced in working with databases and preferably also with ERP Systems and Data Warehouse.
Work requires strong attention to detail as well as strong analytical skills. The incumbent has good customer orientation skills and preferably already has an understanding of Procurement reporting needs.
KNOW-HOW REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Administration, Mathematics or Economy
- 2 years of analysis experience
- Strong attention to detail coupled with strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent skills using database and office suites (Excel incl. advanced graphs, Access, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of how to extract reports from Ariba is a strong asset.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Working knowledge of enterprise procurement systems (Oracle, SAP) would be a strong asset
- Knowledge of Procurement or Supply Chain Management process and methodology would be an asset
- Work hours 10.00 - 18.00
