The largest of the companies is FedEx Express, which provides the most reliable express delivery service, delivering in one or two business days to over 220 countries around the globe. FedEx Express serves customers in five large geographical regions, one region being Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

KEY RESULT AREAS/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1) Customer Proposal Creation: Actively support sales team with creation of proposals and customer communications based on the request for proposal (RFP), request for quotation (RFQ) and requests for information (RFI) inline with customer expectations highlighting FedEx value proposition where sales employee is prospecting for a new customer or for additional business with a current customer, or to prevent a competitive bid situation.
2) 2) Sales Analytics: Utilizes existing system and methods to collect and assist in analysing historical information to identify relationships, forecast sales/market trends, analyse industry patterns, determine penetration ratios, and performance ratings to provides sales management with analysis of sales performance vs. objectives and recommends program modification and enhancements.
3) Sales Support: Proactively works with the sales employees to understand the customer expectations, clarify needs and gain commitment by way of discovery call, primary and secondary research as per the defined process, discussion and in agreement with FedEx subject matter experts to develop proposal in line with the solutions being developed/proposed for/to the customer. Actively interact with customer to provide customised response for large and complex accounts, which includes developing customized customer-specific solutions and value qualifiers.
4) Data Analysis and Modelling: Defines data needs and assists in establishing data bases which can be updated regularly and provide a means for accurate and quick analysis. Assists in establishing an interface between these databases and planning models. Also leads analysis and evaluate programs of other departments that relate to regional sales organisation and make recommendations to improve efficiencies/ Revenues etc.
5) Revenue generating programmes/strategies: Leads developing revenue producing programs/strategies based on analytical conclusions, while maintaining a close interface with systems development and other relevant groups in coordinating and completing projects. leads, Manages and maintains a central content library of legally approved, customer facing information, all of which provides the tools and resources, which enable Sales Professionals to effectively communicate and sell the FedEx value.
6) FedEx Knowledge: Develops and maintains a basic knowledge of the FedEx business together with knowledge of business objectives & business environment (community, competitor, government agencies etc). Keeps self updated on developments in communication methodologies, practices & how these are being used to support the achievement of broad & diverse business goals.
7) Network and Business Relationships: Develops & maintains professional working relationships with relevant stakeholders, community & business leaders who can influence/facilitate the achievement of business results. In relevant situations initiates contact & provides appropriate information to educate & gain optimum support.
8) Compliant Information: Ensures that all information as provided to customer is legally compliant, approved, and which enables Sales Professional to effectively communicate and sell the FedEx value. Assists in development of revenue producing programs and strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:
1) Analytical skills, with experience of analyzing operational requirements and managing information or process flows,
2) 3 years of experience in data analyzing,
3) Fluent English,
4) Fluency in German or any other European language will be an asset,
5) Presentation skills with experience of presenting to Senior Management level audiences,
6) Influencing and persuasion skills, with experience of gaining commitment to required actions,
7) Customer focus,
8) Understanding of the service industry and how it sets and measures performance/service goals,
9) Understanding of sales statistics and how they relate to sales performance,
10) PC skills including Excel, Word and reporting tools.
