In our facility in Niepołomice we are desigining, manufacturing and testing engine controllers and frequency converters for wind turbines.
Join our Quality team as a Customer Quality Engineer.
- Acting as the Customer advocate within company processes and systems. Drives resolution to systemic issues within the organization.
- Execute basic Quality tools that apply to the products and processes and are required by the Customers, such as: contract review, sampling plans, auditing principles, SPC, MSA, First Articles Inspection, FMEA, PFMEA, calibration systems, etc. to understand and ultimately implement Customer requirements in the organization.
- Apply basic understanding of the relevant product or customer specifications, flow down documents, procedures, engineering or process drawings and regulating agent body requirements that apply to the products and suppliers assigned.
- Issues, monitors and maintains corrective action requests related to or triggered by the Customers.
- Maintains accurate and current Customer quality records, such as audits results, claim responses, corrective action responses.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities (i.e. utilizing 6 methodology).
- Ensures adequacy of documents and interfaces with customer for required validation documentation to customer quality requirements such as MPP, PQP, PPAP, ISIR, etc.
- Leads and follows up on internal and external quality audits as required.
- Monitors and reports on customer score cards. Leads action, as appropriate.
- Technical university degree
- 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field
- Fluent English skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Solid understanding of quality management systems including ISO9001, AS9100, TS16949, and/or QS9000.
- Ability to understand principals of Continuous Improvement Methodologies (6 Sigma, Lean Mfg. etc.)
- Proficient in understanding and interpreting engineering specifications, mechanical drawings, and/or electrical schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and tolerencing (GD&T).
- Understanding of Product Life-Cycle Process and quality planning tools (APQP).
