About this opportunity
Welcome to the Credit Risk Portfolio Control and Simula team. We add value by analysing and understanding Nordea's risk positions and credit loan losses - recent and upcoming. We are responsible for Nordea's credit risk control for credit provisioning and support senior management's insight into this risk management activity. We are process owners of the quarter end review of net loan losses for Nordea, and facilitate management oversight and decisions related to the Group's provisioning levels. As Credit Risk Model Analyst you will play a valuable role in bringing a data management and solutions driven capability to the team. We work with stakeholders across the bank's Business Areas to analyse data, foresee developments and generate insight - you will play a valuable part in taking this activity to the next level through improved solutions for data management, automation and analysis.
What you will be doing:
- Process mapping and designing improvement options
- Develop new solutions including automation for controlling and reporting credit loan loss data, for presentation and discussion with subject matter experts such as Head of Credit for a portfolio or Business
- Develop reporting in PowerBI, including structuring data flows and setting requirements towards other teams where there are dependencies
- Represent the team in setting requirements for our use of data and models
- Present and discuss analyst findings with stakeholders such as Head of Credit, Financial Controllers or other stakeholders.

Your experience and background:
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a quantitative subject, such as Finance, Economics, Engineering
- At least 3 years’ experience in risk management or financial or risk control, with an advantage for quantitative analytical experience
- Strong knowledge in programming language, where SAS and SQL are the most relevant
- Knowledge of Credit risk is an advantage
- Strong written and spoken English is a requirement
