Your role
Are you independent and self-driven? Do you have sharp analytic skills with a good counterparty credit awareness and good knowledge of traded products? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
- Independently review and approve credit proposals, conduct counterparty credit analysis and prepare written counterparty annual reviews/ transactional credit proposals drawing conclusions relating to credit assessment, risk appetite, exposure drivers and business prospects.
- Exercise judgment and escalate decisions of high-risk positions to higher authority levels, as needed.
- Advise on ISDA and other trading agreement documentation from a risk perspective as well as structure and negotiate credit-related aspects of this trading documentation.
- Assess counterparty exposure, evaluate transactional risks associated with various trading activities and monitor counterparty credit quality and drivers of credit exposure on their portfolio.
- Approve one-off transaction requests within your delegated authority or where outside, summarize and seek approval from the appropriate authority and manage communication flows with Business colleagues.
- Lead due diligence sessions, review new business initiatives and contribute to risk transformation project work.
- Interact with salespeople, traders and other support functions (e.g. Legal, Market Risk, Operations) and provide support for team members in their day-to-day responsibilities on the portfolio and perform other tasks as needed.
Your team
You’ll be working in the Credit Risk team in our Business Solutions Center in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park). Our role is to responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of European Mutual Funds for managing credit limits and exposures; and for providing ad hoc trade approvals. Our product focus includes OTC derivatives, securities financing, exchange traded derivatives, banking products and structured transactions.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- University degree in accounting or finance related subjects.
- 5-8 years of Investment Bank credit risk experience and good knowledge of traded products.
- Established credit analysis skills and sound credit judgement and a track record of having exercised credit authority.
You are:
- Fluent in English
- Well organized and able to stay on track, even when no two days are the same
- Able to work regularly under pressure
- Comfortable working productively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment as well as independently
- Able to interact well with a large number of different areas within the firm
