Corporate Communication Specialist

The mission of the Corporate Communications Specialist is to ensure Corporate Communications through a defined set of channels to inform, inspire, collaborate, and drive global programs to strengthen and align on the corporate brand and culture. Our client is a world leading manufacturing company.
The person in this role will work with Management, HR, Marketing Communication, Group & Local Functions to develop and execute activities leading to build employer – employee relationships and impact employee behavior to deliver our desired customer experience. The role requires multi-year experience in Corporate Communication. The person will be dedicated to the tasks full time.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Collaboratively develop and own tactics of corporate communication strategy in close alignment with Organizational Transformation and Marketing Communication
- Establish clarity and guidelines on Corporate Communication in alignment with overall corporate guidelines (e.g., which information details can and cannot be communicated)
- Structure, develop, and own corporate communication channels, tools, and platforms to foster employee dialogue
- Design, collaborate, and execute on ad hoc & ongoing Corporate Communications
- Develop communication framework and campaigns (e.g., storyline for execution)
- Design, create, and support communications ensuring highest quality & standards on group level and as needed with local organizations
- Ensure consistent and well-structured execution of communications strategy
- Create dialogue with employees and ensure responsiveness via tech solutions
- Collect relevant information from different company locations across the organization and own development of communication elements (e.g., videos)
- Support employer branding (internal, external) in close collaboration with HR function
- Establish a firm set of KPIs and measure the success of engagement
- Support and execute upon global programs to strengthen corporate brand and culture
Your experience
- University degree in communications or public relations
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, MarComm, etc.
- International/multi-cultural experience
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Readiness for travels – 30-40%
- Understanding of wider communications space & best-practices (PR, MarComm, etc.)
- Knowledge of functional relationships (e.g., HR, Comms) and their link to business strategy
- Definition of communications strategy and channels (incl. audience segmentation)
- Ability to work independently in defining programs/ campaigns to meet agreed objectives
- Regular writing and sub-editing, visual identity, and employer branding (internal & external)
- Experience in developing and executing on engagement measures (i.e., KPIs)
